We are all travelers through life, and this immortal song cycle makes the journey all the sweeter, from youthful strength and confidence through contented old age. Carlos Archuleta is a native New Mexican baritone with a full and varied operatic career, including principle appearances with the Santa Fe Opera, Washington National Opera, New York City Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Dallas Opera and Utah Opera. His repertoire includes both Figaros, the Count in NOZZE, Papageno, Giovanni, Escamillo, Sharpless, Silvio, Germont, Marcello and Schaunard; as well as soloist for Bach’s “Ich habe genug” and “Magnificat”, Mendellsohn’s “Elijah”, Handel’s ‘Messiah”, Orff’s “Carmina Burana” and Brahms’ “Requiem”.
